In 2008, I played guitar in a band named Plagues and we released an EP called … As The White Picket Fence Caught Fire.
It’s one of the musical projects I’m most proud of to date. Perhaps that’s due to nostalgia alone, or maybe just because it was my first fully realised musical venture but maybe it’s because I still think it’s a fantastic piece of music. I don’t know.About two weeks ago, myself Paul and Robbie bumped into Spatch, an old friend who drove us on the Plagues ‘tour’ back in about 2009. That prompted a huge rush of memory and storytelling between us all to do with Plagues. I’d forgotten how hilarious absolutely everything was then. That ‘tour’ was without a doubt one of the highlights of my life so far and that time in general is a time I’ll remember with an ultimate fondness. The cottage. Belfast. Setting the tank top on fire in the shed and the chaos that followed. Anyway, you can download that EP from Mediafire if you click HERE.Here’s a pretty humorous video of us playing in Tripod for our first show:

It’s all about that banger Martyrs on the Myspace though: http://www.myspace.com/plaguesdublin
Sure we were only kids. Ha.

Sure they were the days. Cheap hash and little Emo mots.
